My Path
I’m Haley Lawson, a senior at the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, pursuing a degree in Business Management with a focus in Marketing and a minor in Hispanic Studies. With a strong academic foundation and a passion for both marketing and business, I’m excited to be starting my own freelance marketing company, Lawson Marketing, as I prepare to transition into the professional world.
Through my work as an Office Assistant at Retail Electrical Services, I’ve sharpened my skills in client communication, social media content creation, and administrative support. This role has strengthened my organizational abilities and attention to detail, preparing me for managing multiple client projects as I build my business.
Additionally, my experience with the American Marketing Association (AMA) has been invaluable in shaping my marketing strategies and teamwork skills. I led a team to create LinkedIn strategies for a corporate partner’s sustainability initiatives, which deepened my expertise in content creation and marketing communications.
I’ve also built strong leadership skills through my involvement with Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), where I coordinated successful fundraising events and collaborated with nonprofits. These experiences have shaped my passion for strategic planning, relationship-building, and driving results.
As the owner of Lawson Marketing, I’m dedicated to helping businesses enhance their marketing presence through personalized strategies and creative solutions. I’m eager to collaborate with clients, grow my business, and continue my professional journey in marketing and business management.
